Griffin Technologies has announced the availability of their Amplifi 2.1 Sound System for iPod
. As an owner of an iPod without any type of speaker hookup (except in the car, of course), this immediately caught my interest. I especially like the fact that it has a standard input jack so that my kids could plug their MP3 players in as well if they have friends over. And since I’m always running out of juice, the fact that it charges your iPod at the same time is certainly a big plus.
Feature Specifications include:
- Compact acoustically-tuned wooden enclosure
- iPod-ready with docking slot and 6 iPod adapters
- 3.5mm stereo input jack supports all players
- Two 2.75†neodymium high/midrange speakers
- 5†woofer and bass reflex port
- Slim 6-function IR remote
- Charges iPod during use
- Includes AC Power Cable (100–240V AC)
